FOEDRC Members Michael Welsh and David Stoltz apart of the UI cystic fibrosis research team that wins $11.5 million grant

A University of Iowa research team has been awarded their second renewal of a five year, $11.5 million grant from the National Institutes of Health. The money will go towards continuing its work to develop and identify treatment for cystic fibrosis (CF) lung disease.

Among the research team is Michael Welsh, who was the leader of the major project grant back in 2008 and with the recent renewal, David Stoltz who took the lead alongside Welsh.
